Martin:
We made it to Anchorage in one piece last night after some incredible adventures and flying across the country and through Canada. I think we expanded Todd's limits (and maybe his comfort zone too) when it comes to night flight in remote area, non-radar and icing environments. Todd brought us safely through!
Thanks for all the hospitality and help that Muncie Aviation provided.
You have a jewel of an employee in Todd. Not only is he accommodating and personable, but he is also obviously a very dedicated and loyal employee of Muncie Aviation, and to top that all off, he is also extremely knowledgeable about the Matrix. I feel like someone stuffed a fire-hose of knowledge in my mouth and turned the spigot on high. I hope I can live up to his high expectations for us in our new plane.
And really, I'd have to say something about ALL of your employees that we were privileged to meet and work with. They all went beyond our expectations in helping and accommodating us. You have a class operation there, one that's certain to bring customers back again and again. It surely will for the Laxson's. I am already scheming on avionics upgrades next summer (Avidyne ADSB mods to the TAS620 TAS, and MLX770 for Alaska and Canadian weather). Keep us informed if Piper ever starts talking about putting the new Lycoming FADEC engine and Entegra Release 9 in new Matrix's.
I knew the Meridian was a rare bird in Alaska. As we landed in the twilight at our home field PAMR in Anchorage Thursday night, the tower asked as we rolled out "is THAT a Meridian?"
We wish you the best of luck in the coming year and are sending a little token of our appreciation for your staff that should arrive in a week or so. Please put it out in the flight-line and avionics office area, but be sure Todd and Eric get some (although Eric did not instruct in the air, he spent more than a little time with us relating facts and stories and recommendations about the Meridian).

Dear Martin:
I have been a customer of your company for over 35 years. Our relationship began in the 1970’s with avionics work on my Cessna 340, progressing to annual inspections and normal maintenance on airframe, engines, systems and avionics. Several other Bonanzas and Barons that I subsequently owned followed the Cessna 340 to your shop.
As the years progressed, I purchased my first turboprop from you, a Piper Meridian. Four years later, I traded my Meridian for a TBM 700 C2.
I feel that I have always been treated with respect, dignity and honesty at Muncie Aviation. The service is always performed on time and at a cost that is reasonable. With Muncie Aviation, the sale is just the beginning of a great relationship.
I also appreciate your participation in the TBM Owners and Pilots Organization. Your team members always render service above my expectations.
Warmest Regards,
Stephen M. Huse
It is great working with the employee owners at Muncie! Each department works hard to make sure the customer’s expectations are exceeded whether it’s fueling your airplane or high tech service the attitude is the same.
